On the official YouTube channel of developer Spike Chunsoft, the opening sequence of the video game Re: Zero -Starting Life in Another World- The Prophecy of the Throne (Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu - Itsuwari no Ousen Kouho) was published, whose launch is scheduled in Japan for next January 28 on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC consoles. The video features the theme "Reline" performed by Mayu Maeshima.
It is worth mentioning that the video game will also have a launch on the same consoles in North America on January 29 and in Europe on February 5. The story will focus on the Royal Selection arc from the anime's first season. Additionally, it will include new events and alternate sidelines, which are being overseen by original light novel author Tappei Nagatsuki. Also, Shinichirou Otsuka, the original illustrator, is participating as a character designer.
Tappei Nagatsuki began publishing the light novels in April 2012 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and subsequently Kadokawa publishers began publishing on paper with illustrations by Shinichirou Otsuka in January 2014. The publisher published the twenty-fourth volume last year. September 25, followed by the twenty-fifth on December 25 in Japan.
