Hata began the publication of the manga through the magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday of the Shogakukan publishing house in February 2018. The work inspired an adaptation to the twelve episodes anime produced by the Seven Arcs studios, under the direction of Hiroshi Ikehata and scripts written by Kazuho Hyodo, premiered in October 2020.
