A renowned Japanese leaker confirmed that the transmission of the second season of the animated adaptation of the Yakusoku no Neverland (The Promised Neverland) manga will have a compilation episode on February 11. The fifth episode will air normally on February 4, while the sixth will air until February 18.
It is worth mentioning that the production has been widely questioned by some decisions regarding the narrative development of this second season, by omitting an event considered essential by the fans. On the other hand, although it is a leak, the statement will surely be confirmed after the broadcast of the fifth episode in the next few hours.
The series is on air in Japan and is confirmed with a total of eleven episodes, while the Funimation platform is in charge of its global distribution. For their part, Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu began publishing the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in August 2016 and finalized it in June 2020, with twenty volumes.
